Our Story

Founded in 1942 by William Thomas Sr. and William Thomas Jr., our mission has always been simple: to bring high-quality, sustainably sourced beef to our local community. We have held to the "old way" of doing things in order to offer beef that is raised responsibly and tastes extraordinary.

Where Passion Meets Tradition

Currey Farms is proudly family-farmer owned and operated. Will Currey is a fourth-generation farmer and he along with his wife, Molly, currently own and operate the farm. Will and Molly are passionate about keeping their farm true to traditional and natural practices. They breed their own cattle which they feed with forages they grow and grain they grind themselves. They sell their beef directly from the farm and strive to create a custom experience through offering a wide variety of cuts and packages.   

Grass Fed, Grain Finished

We know exactly what our cattle eat, so you can feel confident in what you feed your family. Our cattle spend the majority of their time grazing on green pastures. We grow our own hay and forages, and supplement their diet with grain that we grind ourselves. No GMOs are used in our grain mixture.

Responsibly Raised

Cattle should be raised in a sustainable and natural way. We take this commitment seriously, which is why we do not use antibiotics, growth hormones, GMOs, or steroids. Being responsible stewards of the land and of our cattle is our mission.
